How we use AI
AI Policy & Disclosure
Last updated: 13 March 2026

I want to be fully transparent about how I use AI at Elements Running Education. This policy details when and how AI tools are used — and what I never use them for.

What I may use AI for
I occasionally use AI tools for some of the following:

-
Consolidation of market research, analytics or feedback
-
Brainstorming help or idea-generation for things like blog topics or presentations
-
Creating technical documents such as terms and conditions, policies or surveys
-
Drafting the structure of a blog post
-
Transcribing calls for the purpose of note-keeping and review; if I use an AI scribe I will always seek verbal consent before proceeding with the call.
-
In the past, I have used AI for some social media and blog posts, many of which are still out there. I no longer use AI in this way.

What I don't use AI for
AI tools are never used for any of the following:

-
Writing training plans. What you see is personally written by me and different from anyone else's training plan.
-
Personal emails, training feedback, or any other 1:1 or group communication
-
Email newsletters
-
Informational handouts, welcome packets, videos, or any other training materials or resources
-
Copy on my website; it is written and edited by me or another human editor
-
Anything requiring care, personalization or the use of your personal details in any way

Role of AI in my business
I believe in the importance of a fully personalized approach and real human interaction. My use of AI tools is limited to process tasks that don't need my personal touch or tone of voice — tasks where I can save time without compromising the result. The environmental impact of AI is concerning, and I don't like to use it if I feel it's unnecessary.
Any copy that is drafted by AI is reviewed and edited by me, a real human. If I use AI for research, I check all claims and facts through reputable sources before using or sharing them.

I never feed AI tools any personal or identifying information about clients, leads, or other contacts.

Furthermore, my AI tools are set to private mode, which means content is not shared beyond my own AI queries. It's possible that platforms change their default settings from time to time; if I become aware of any such changes, I will strive to update my settings as soon as possible.
